It's all change this year, when Headinton Quarry Morris Dancers once again present the traditional Headington Quarry Morris Mummer's Play, 'King George and the Turkish Knight'.
Look out for a new King George, Turkish Knight and Doctor, as well as other changes of cast when this popular annual spectacle is performed at Headington Quarry.
The performance will start at approx 11:15am at The Crown & Thistle, Old Road, with the Oxfordshire Handbell Ringers, playing traditional Christmas carols. They will be followed by The Headington Quarry Morris Dancers Rapper Dancers - who will give a thrilling performance, then, after some more carols from the handbell ringers, the Mummers Play will round off the performance.
The whole thing will then be repeated at the Chequers at 12:15, the Six Bells at 1.00 and The Mason's Arms at 1:45.
