Welcome to the FolkinOxford.co.uk; the website that provides a directory to the wide range of folk and roots music and activities in and around Oxfordshire and a calendar of upcoming events.
Our objective is to support local performers and groups by enabling information about them to be easily accessed. Whether you simply want to listen, are keen to sing, make music or dance, or are looking for performers for an event you should find something for you here.
Join our mailing list
We distribute a monthly newsletter highlighting new items posted on the site and a list of events coming up over the next two months.

Folk in Oxford Calendar
If you're involved in organising, hosting, or performing at any folk music event or club/team please ensure you let us know and that it is listed in our calendar. Calendar listings are free of charge but will not be listed if we don’t know about it! If you heve frequent / regular events to post and would be prepared to post them yourself then please ask to become a registered member.
Local Performers
If you are based in and/or perform regularly in and around the vicinity of Oxfordshire then ensure you are included in our directory of performers. For further information Click Here

We also like to list those services that support folk music activities. So if you tutor/teach or repair folk music instruments then please let us know so we can include you.
