Oxfordshire can boast no less than seven active folk festivals! All of them are heavily dependant on teams of volunteers to help things run smoothly, so if you're looking for a way to get involved then this could be an excellent way in - and you will usually get a free ticket out of it! Riverside Festival - a free festival in Charlbury
Wood Festival - a celebration of Music and Nature (some folk artists, lots of accoustic / roots type music)
Truck Festival - more mainstream artists than folk generally, but Truck also have a folk stage at the OX4 festival in the Autumn
Wilderness Festival - new in 2011; a celebration of the outdoors
