There is a folk night every Friday at the Highwayman, the guest singers start at 8.45pm & finish at 10.45pm, mostly chorus songs so the audience can join in.

Comprise 7 guest singers on rotation, tradition songs of the land & sea. The  "singers pot" goes round about 10.00pm to pay for the singers. The evening finishes at 11.00pm because there are guest rooms above the bar area.
