Gracenotes was formed 5 years ago as result of a mutual desire between the four singers to perform their original versions of folk, traditional and contemporary songs. Their style is  ‘a cappella’ based on 4-part harmony arrangements by group member Simon Hooper, with the aim of enhancing the beauty and emotions of the original melodies through the arrangements and their performance. Based in the Buckingham and Banbury areas the group has performed in local concerts, folk/acoustic clubs, charity fundraisers as well as busking and recording songs remotely for online events during lockdown.
