A wonderful afternoon of folk dancing and music at Kennington Village Centre. You will be treated to not just one, but four fantastic balfolk bands:
Confluence, Helen Gentile & Lewis Wood, Sawney White Bird and Shivelight, with folk dance tunes from across Europe. A real Bal Massif!

The afternoon will start with a dance workshop, where you can learn some traditional European balfolk dances (or refresh your dance steps for the more experienced amongst you). No prior knowledge is needed as all instruction will be given on the day. But we do suggest you bring some comfy shoes!

Dance workshop 2:30pm, Dance 3:30pm - 7pm

There will be live music from start to finish as well as a bar selling alcoholic and soft drinks.

There will be a videographer filming on the day and the video will be used by the musicians to promote future musical and folk dance events.
