The Mad Hatters present an evening celebrating Thomas Hardy and his relationship with the Wantage area. There will be readings from Hardy's poems, short stories and extracts from his novels, as well as music from the Hardy family manuscripts (did you know that Hardy was a fiddle player?) and folk songs from Dorset.

This is a fund raising event for the Vale & Downland Museum and is part of the Wantage Summer Festival.
Tickets are £7 (includes drink/nibbles) and are available from the Vale & Downland Museum.
