As we had planned for in 2020, we are excited to present an official Festival Choir, directed by Paul Sartin, acclaimed choral director and singer with Bellowhead, Belshazzar's Feast, and Faustus.

The choir will meet for four rehearsals in the run up to Folk Weekend 2022 and will learn two or three songs to perform at the Festival Opening Ceremony.

Rehearsals

Rehearsals will take place at Trinity Church, Conduit Road Abingdon, on Wednesday evenings 7.30-9.30pm.

• 6th April

• 13th April

• 20th April

There will also be a rehearsal on Saturday 23rd April immediately before the performance.

Enrollment charges

- Standard ticket (£38) is the ‘normal’ price that we would charge for the event

- Pay a bit more (£45) is for those who can afford to, and would like to make a donation towards the event

- Pay a bit less (£30) is for those who would find the standard ticket a bit of a stretch, for whatever reason

You can purchase whichever ticket you like; you don’t need to give a reason, and you won’t be asked for any proof of need.
