Random has long been a favourite band with Oxfolk and we are delighted to welcome the refreshed line-up to Kennington.  Original member, Paul Nye on melodeons, has been joined by Penny Kempson (Out of Hand) on fiddle, Adam Courthold (Woodpecker Band, Ceilidhography) on drums, Dean Clay on bass guitar (also a busy multi-instrumentalist) & Aaron Horlock on electric guitar (Monkey See Monkey Do).

Rock steady rhythm, great tunes and utterly dancible is Random down to a t.  You can look forward to dancing to new arrangements of existing material and also new tunes, many of which have been written by Penny, Paul and Aaron.

We last saw Sarah Clough calling at Folk Weekend Oxford with Melrose Ceilidh Band. She’s cool, calm and collected and has some great dances for us!
