Warp and Weft comprise Alison Raymond and Susan Alexander.

Alison plays fiddle, piano and guitar; she also sings. She has been active in morris dancing and she has been a caller for barn dancing. Alison still serves as pianist in one of the home counties’ most active barn dance bands. She is an author, composer and playwright having written and produced two folk based plays in recent years. Alison was the winner of the Watford folk club competition for song writers in 2019. 

Susan Alexander plays fiddle and also sings. Susan's musical journey has taken her from an early ambition to play Irish fiddle tunes to a deep fondness for the rich heritage of Scottish traditional music with a nod to the Americas along the way. Warp and Weft play at festivals in the summer and community events in the winter; we can also be found busking on the chilly streets of Hertfordshire at Christmas. Traveling light today, W&W will present a selection of tunes from the UK and the US, each arranged for two violins and accompanied by Alison's pre-recorded piano.
