Not long now folks. We are incredibly excited to be welcoming folk legend Fairport Convention's Chris Leslie to our stage alongside the beautiful sounds of up and coming artists Dolly Mavies and Rowan Godel. Get your tickets soon they are starting to sell like hot cakes.

Chris Leslie has been a multi instrumentalist and song writer with Fairport Convention for the last 21 years. He is bringing his solo show to the Listening Room on guitar, fiddle, Hardanger Fiddle and Native American Flute. The evening will feature songs and instrumentals from his solo albums as well as numbers he has contributed to the Fairport repertoire. His other current projects also include Feast Of Fiddles and St. Agnes Fountain.

Chris will be supported by Rowan Godel and Dolly Mavies:

Singer and song writer Rowan Godel, has been described as an “underground folk superstar” and is one of British folk musics best kept secrets.

Having worked extensively with some of the biggest names in folk today - Oysterband ( duetting with John Jones on Street of Dreams, Spirit of Dust and more ), The Levellers and Ray Cooper (aka Chopper ) - and a member of Oysterband’s "John Jones and the Reluctant Ramblers", among others - she now emerges with her own solo EP, entitled, "September Skies”.
Rowan plays and sings her own original material along with some traditional folk songs. She has recently been awarded finalist and semi finalist positions in the 2017 UK Songwriting Contest for four of her own compositions.

More often to be found playing with her trio (Rowan, Benji Kirkpatrick and Tim Cotterell ) - tonight, she offers a rare solo performance.

Dolly Mavies is an Indie Folk/Soul Singer Songwriter based in Oxford. Dolly mixes soft dulcet tones, haunting vocals and poetic lyrics, alongside acoustic guitar to create poignant, honest, soulful music.
"excellent singer songwriter ... blessed with a sublime, ethereal voice and a talent for writing thoughtful, personal songs" - FATEA | 2017
“She has the voice of an old, introspective soul and personifies a ray of sunshine” – The Shipping Forecast | 2018
