DiElle is a singer-songwriter hailing from the idyllic village setting of Wickham on the South Coast of England. A quiet town it may be, but it is home to one of the most exciting songwriters with a knack for hard hitting, brutally honest lyrics, an ear for soaring melody and a voice that could bring a tear to the eye of even the most stone hearted souls.
"John, Chris and I will be playing our acoustic show, including our very special Bob Dylan medley, for the lovely people of Banbury! We can't wait to meet you all, have a chat and a sing together!" DiElle
On 22nd July at The Mill Arts Centre in Banbury, Oxfordshire, original music, exquisite folk and acoustic classics will be performed by DiElle, John Gleadall and Chris Wood dressed in three part harmony vocals. Lovers of a good song and story, this trio are heart-warming and enjoyable to watch. A show for real music lovers.
“No one wants to let go of a fantastic evening” Chris Rogers, Flash FM Review here:- http://diellemusic.com/live-review-hayling-april2018/
Inspired by great songwriters such as Joni Mitchell and Carole King, and harmony vocal acts like The Hollies and The Eagles, John, Chris and DiElle celebrate the art of song, coming together from all corners of the music industry (Chris, Billy Ocean's Musical Director at the age of 18, John a Musical Theatre songwriter who recently had his shows on the West End, and DiElle a singer-songwriter who's love of singing and song writing has taken her from rural Hampshire to Hollywood.)
A strong bond between the three, show highlights include a rather exquisite rendition of 'More Than Words' (Extreme), 'A Case Of You' Joni Mitchell's lovelorn tribute to Leonard Cohen, and a special medley of Bob Dylan songs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GkEakIqdDtY
