Fleur de Lys, East Hagbourne

The Fleur De Lys (Flower of the Lilly) originates from the 17th Century and is the only remaining pub in the picturesque Oxfordshire village of East Hagbourne. A short walk from Didcot the surrounding countryside is the perfect place for walking and dogs are very welcome in the Bar area.

At the Fleur we are passionate about music and regularly host Music Evenings, details of which can be found on our events page. Every first Wednesday of the month we have an informal acoustic/electric guitar evening covering popular songs from the 60s onwards. Every third Wednesday a popular well established Folk Night which in 2017 will celebrate 25 years.

IOTA at The Fleur de Lys - Saturday November 3rd @ 8pm

Sally Barker, Anna Ryder & Marion Fleetwood perform as I O T A.   All three write, sing and sway in perfect harmony and each is a seasoned performer of the UK Folk/Rock scene.
The three got together in 2017 to form I O T A as it seemed to make perfect sense to combine their experience and talents to write and perform their new and inventive I O T A material.

Sally Barker (vocal, guitar & percussion) sang to millions as Tom Jones' ?nalist on The Voice UK but the singer-songwriter has entertained for years  as a member of revered fem-folk group The Poozies, of the re-formed Fotheringay and as a solo artist supporting Bob Dylan, Robert Plant and Richard Thompson. Sally Barker brings any song gloriously to life.

Anna Ryder (vocal, keys, accordion, guitar, dumbek, banjo & french horn) is a musical dynamo; an original and inventive singer and songwriter with a musical style that, although based in folk, spans an array of genres. Though a long-time solo artist, Anna has also worked with, amongst many others, Fairport Convention, Eddi Reader, Julianne Regan (All About Eve) and Rabbit Bundrick (The Who).
?With a voice which has been described as 'mesmerising' and 'siren-esque', the blazingly  dynamic Marion Fleetwood (vocal, ?ddle, cello, guitar & percussion) is a highly respected multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter. Best known as a member of TRADarrr and as a former member of Colvin Quarmby and The Jigantics.
I O T A evoke the spirit and musical energy of the Roches whilst channelling the Supremes, Destiny's Child and Charlie's Angels.
