The Slow Session is held in The King Alfred’s Head in Wantage on the second Sunday at 2.30pm in one of the upstairs functions rooms (usually the small one). It is a tunes session for those people who are not used to playing in a session or maybe have a new instrument or are of a nervous disposition. Very friendly and informal; so it’s fine to ask about stuff, bring and use chord books and so on. There’s usually a few folk there who play at regular sessions and will guide the proceedings. Slowly, of course!
