Come to the Oxfolk Christmas ceilidh - a ready made party. We've local heroes, The Cock and Bull Band, who take their name from that story about nonsense in Stony Stratford's pubs. They pioneered a fushion of English and French tunes with sequencing technology, creating a signature style which is instantly recognisable. In their very nearly 40 years as a band, they have been stalwarts at Towersey Festival and we are delighted to have them back at Oxfolk! They are Pete Lockwood on sax and keyboards, Paul Martin on bouzouki, Vanda Sainsbury on clarinet and sax and Lynn Swain on flute.

Mary Panton is a stalwart caller on the London scene and author of very many classic dances. We are delighted to welcome her to Kennington for the first time.

The Abingdon Mummers will entertain us at half time with a traditional and seasonal play.

Tickets are available on the door: £10 adults, £7 concessions (12-17s, students, pensioners), £1 5-11s and free under 5s. See www.oxfolk.org.uk for details of family and group discounts.

Location Kennington Village Centre
