Oxford Cosy Bal Miniscule (+ workshop)

Come join us for a bal miniscule at Wolvercote Village Hall (a lovely little hall in north Oxford) on a Saturday afternoon! The music is varied - lively, soulful and rich in spirit. Bring your family, friends, children, loved ones and come dance with us! Social dances like this are part of the ‘bals-folk’ tradition in many countries in Europe.

The atmosphere of the whole afternoon will be relaxed and friendly, and there's always a chance to chat between dances too. We are paying for this venue so if dancers could give £5 each on the door that would be marvellous (we will have a card reader or cash is fine). Any surplus will go to Oxford Poverty Action Trust.
(LFT test on the day required to help keep each other safe.)

Food - no on-site food I'm afraid. but there are several pubs in Wolvercote, some of which might even be open. There's a kitchen and we'll provide tea things, if you would like to bring something to share that would be lovely. There is some crockery to have it on as well.

Getting there - the no. 6 bus goes to just outside the hall from the centre of Oxford every quarter of an hour or so: https://www.oxfordbus.co.uk/services/OXBC/6. If you're coming by train you probably want Oxford Rail Station not Oxford Parkway (buses are much less regular). Parking in Wolvercote is not great but the Peartree park and ride is just up the road and the bus service stops nearby
