I am looking for some help to update and maintain the information on the Folk in Oxford website.

The task is not onerous but is based on the monthly cycle of publishing the newsletter,

I have been keeping it ticking over by myself for several years since I took over from Cat McGill but I am aware that some of the information on the website is out of date and would benefit from more than just my effort and perspective.

The help could be on the basis of interest of a specific activity (e.g., morris dancing) or on the basis of geographic location (e.g., activities at local venues, information on folk friendly venues).

If you are interested then please contact me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Have you considered subscribing and becoming an Individual / Band member of Folk in Oxford?

This type of account is for individuals promoting themselves as performers or teachers, or promoting their own band. (It is not for an agent promoting multiple bands)

It provides you with your own web page on our site, enables you to add events to our calendar, and to add articles to our website (e.g., under gigs and concerts etc.) which will then get added to our monthly newsletter.

An individual/band member can use their account to promote any band they are currently playing in, or any event they are playing at.

Individual membership costs £7 per year on an annual subscription. Full membership benefits.
