Membership of FolkinOxford.co.uk gives you a wide variety of ways to put yourself in front of our visitors...
A FolkinOxford page of your very own
With a members account you will have your own dedicated page on the site. You are in control of what goes on this page, and you can edit it as much as you like. You have the option to set it up as a single page of text, or as a blog that you can update as frequently as you like. (The exception to this is Individual Membership, where the only option is a single page of text.)
Access to the main site listings pages
As well as your own dedicated page, you will be able to submit content to other parts of the site, for example the gig listings. This is particularly useful if you have a static page of text for your own page; for example Individuals can have their booking information on their own page, and upload details of their upcoming gigs to the Gigs & Concerts section.
Access to our mailing list
Every new piece of content you post on the site will go out in our monthly e-newsletter to our mailing list, which features all new content added to the site. All things combined, this will currently give you access to around 800 local, active folk fans.
Please note the newsletter is generated on the 28th of each month, so make sure you have next month's gig listings up by then or they won't go in!
If you want a last minute boost of extra publicity for your event you have the option to purchase a "FiO Extra" newsletter at a discounted rate - this will be published immediately and will feature only your update.
Unlimited updates
You can update your section of the site as much as you like - as long as you stay within our Terms & Conditions regarding the use of your membership.
